YUSUF ARAKKAL: Noted contemporary artist Yusuf Arakkal passed away in  Bengaluru, Karnataka, on 4 October 2016. He had recently released a bot Faces of Creativity, which is a comprehensive collection of portraits of fel ists. It was the first time that an Indian artist had done portraits of other artist had done portrait of other artist .Recently, he received the prestigious Lorenzo De Medici Gold Medal,at florence Internationale Biennale, in Florence, Italy for his work Bacon's Man Child and Priest.
