MAX WALKER:

Former Australian cricketer Max Walker passed away at Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, on 28 September 2016. He was famous for his unconventional bowling action that earned him the nickname Tangles.
 MORINARI WATANABE: Japan's Ivlorinari Watanabe was, on 20 October 2016, elected as the new President of the Inter­national Gymnastics Federation (FIG) after defeated rival can­didate Georges Guelzec of France by a huge margin in a vote at the governing body's Congress. With this, Watanabe became the ninth President of the FIG since it was established in 1881.
 MS SAHOO: MS Sahoo on 1 October 2016 assumed charge as Chairman of Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (11313I). The oath of the office was administered by Union Fi­nance and Corporate Affairs Minister Arun Jaitley. He will serve the office will 2021. Sahoo was recently serving as a member of anti-trust regu­lator Competition Commis­sion of India (CCI) and was earlier a member at capital markets regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). The main activity of IBBI is to regulate the func­tioning of insolvency professionals, insolvency professional agencies and information utilities under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code 2016.
